Renaming Sega CD files bricks the whole game (Kega Fusion)

I have been building up my entire emulator library, and all was working out well so far, except for those emulators that seem to either only launch the application itself instead of the game you want to launch directly (Like my  Neo Geo emulators), or does not have controller support at all (Like my ColecoVision emulator). Those emulators I toss to the side as those that I would launch occasionally, just not under Hyperspin for any or a combination of those two reasons. But I really don't want to do the same to the Sega CD, but yet in most cases, I may have to for the following reasons!

Here's the thing. When I download a Sega CD "rom", for the most part, it only gives me a .bin and a .cue file. That would work fine, but when RocketLauncher doesn't recognize any of them without me having to rename the whole thing, that would give me a MASSIVE problem with the emulator itself. When I figured it out, I almost REALLY want to just uninstall HyperSpin for good!

You see, when I launch a .cue file on the Sega CD part of the Fusion emulator, it works just fine, but when I rename both files, the game now is recognized as "Fusion_Unknown", and the Sega CD BIOS says "Checking Disc" for a few seconds before when I press start, it just takes me to the music CD player. So, the bottom line is that if I rename ANY Sega CD cue file, that game would instantly become junk.

Now, that problem does not apply to .iso files. Even after renaming, when I load an iso file in the Sega CD emulator, the game launches and plays fine. But the problem is that for some games, there's no music at all. Sonic CD is a perfect example of it. The iso launches just fine, but I can't play any music, even with a .cue file to go with the .iso. And it doesn't matter anyway because any custom renamed cue files are junk anyway.

Just this alone makes me just want to delete HyperSpin from my computer permanently because it FORCES me to rename files!

You don't need to rename the bin file since the cue sheet is what RL loads so only that needs to match the database name. If you do rename the bin file you need to open the cue sheet in a text editor and rename the references to the bin file in there also.

THANK YOU SO MUCH; IT WORKED!!! Sorry if I was yelling, but I did not see that before! How come I'm so stupid about this?!
