rp05
I am wondering if anybody can help me add these games to hyperspin. I am wondering if i need to rename them or if there is a way to combine the disks. I ave included a pic of my Amiga roms to help explain what i mean. any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks Very much In Advance.
Guest hellsing001
Firstly try and find the games on other systems - Genesis / SNES / MAME / NES / SEGA CD / PC Engine. Gods, Cannon Fodder, Chaos Engine and Flashback are on the Genesis. Secondly in the database xml file I would point it to the first file to load - eg disk 1 - enter "Gods_Disk1" as the first entry It will run the game from the first disk. After that you will have to find a a way to switch disks. GOOD LUCK! I gave up on Amiga due to this issue. If your using a PC, not a cabinet, its much easier to just run Winuae when you want to play the games. Try looking at the CD32 as most amiga games are being ported to that system and they do away with multiloads. hellsing
Tomkun
For Amiga, check out WHDLoad. For other systems, set it up to boot from the first disk and then either use the emulator, or a third party tool such as rocketlauncher to swap the disks. Most of the databases for hyperspin have entries for every disk in a set, so I usually set them as clones so I can hide them in the menus. As far as I am aware, all emulators for systems that supported multi disk games offer a disk swap function, but if it's hidden away in a menu it may not be obvious.
