Hyperspin Startup Script problems solved.

Alrighty guys...in case you're still thirsty, I have a grip on what is actually happening with this script.  First off, my system is a bit wonky, but works great.  I have 2 KADE controllers that are XINPUT devices with firmware custom to my keys, but that's not the point.  The point is, they are XBOX controllers.  The system sees them as such in device manager.  Next, I use a mini-pac so I can have a dedicated (programmable) ESC arcade-key.  It's just the best to have one.  So this is what my setup looks like just to get us all on the same playing field...

Next, I used the Joystick Detection.ahk to help understand what the computer was seeing.  I recommend this to troubleshoot what is taking focus if not to troubleshoot the actual button presses.  What I found, was that I was getting 2 MINI-PACs and only 1 KADE controller visible at this junction, but windows would otherwise recognize xbox controller 1 and 2...no problem.  Hell, even in games, they would both work flawlessly.  The first thing of course to test, was to pull the mini-pac entirely from the system.

From here, I now see both XBOX controllers.  Awesome...we are off to a start.  I fire up HS with the script in place...and it's barely doing anything.  Just wonky/unuseable.  I get to work on the edits.  I took out all the BS in script and catered it to what I need, but the important part is that I trimmed the fat.  I will attach my .ini to this post.

I fire up HS once more...HUZZAH.  All is working well, but no ESC key.  Let's see if I can get this puppy working.

(Those who don't use a mini-pac can dip out here)

I plug the mini-pac back in, and same BS.  The Joystick Detection.ahk is going bananas again.  Conflicting with the KADE recognition and pulling focus to itself (and some phantom secondary mini-pac with a different HID.)  Here's where the gettin' gets good.  FIRMWARE.  GET NEW FIRMWARE.  Head over to ultimarc and get the firmware that is labeled 1.44 NoGC.  This means no game controller.  That is where the extra PID was coming in and totally putting a wrench in the system.  As soon as I flashed the firmware, we were in business.  The system now only sees the mini-pac as an ESC key.  BOOM.

I really hope this helps others after an hour or two of ding-dongin' with this thing.
