SHADOWSTRIKE1
Hey guys! I'm new here. Been working on my HS install while planning out my cab. I'm trying to decide on a keyboard encoder for my controls, but I'm having a bit of trouble deciding. I would like to be able to fully control everything in HS from the console I'm making, and I've heard that a keyboard encoder is better than a USB gamepad encoder for this. I don't want to have to run Joy2Key or something. I would also prefer a board with 2-player support (or at least a 1-player board that I can use 2 of them) and minimal to zero lag. So I was looking around, and I really liked how encoders like the Xin-mo and Zero Delay and ZD ReMatch feature plug-in wires. I plan on using LED buttons, and simple wire plugs to plug into the board and into the buttons would be ideal rather than having to solder anything or strip wires and screw them down and such. I've read that the IPAC is a great board, but so far I've only seen the model where you have to screw down a wire... Not sure why it isn't adapted to the plug-in variant that a lot of the gamepad encoders feature. Do you guys have any suggestions?
rascaluk
Ipac is awesome IMHO. I prob wouldn't use anything else if I were to do it again. Screwing down the wires is no big deal at all. Takes a second. Just make sure you have a small enough screwdriver and it's simple. Two turns and done.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
