The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

How do you launch an executable from a sub wheel?

I decided to add a wheel for PC games on my arcade cab, everything was working fine with games launching through rocketlauncher using the PCLauncher module...except when it came time to add Crysis...everytime the game would launch it would crash at the "Crytek" intro, you would hear a Hyperspin error sound, the mouse cursor would appear and hover over the "Crytek" logo, and then it would stall before collapsing into a windowed view of the game...this is combined with a bunch of focus issues.  BUT when i create a main menu wheel to just launch the exe without hyperlaunch/rocketlauncher, it launches without any issues at all.  How can I get Crysis to be on my PC Games wheel but launch as a straight executable without using Hyperlaunch/Rocketlauncher???

well as fate would have it, right after I made the first post I came across the solution.  I simply made a batch file that directed to the exe of the game in the game's exe folder...then made a shortcut to the batch file in my PC games shortcuts directory...problem solved!

I would assume this would work for anyone wanting to launch an executable from any sub wheel.

Now I can grace my kids with the glory that CRYSIS is in PC Gaming still is to this day!
