Controller will not work in hyperspin after exiting game x-arcade

Hello,

 

Whenever I exit out of a game by holding the right side button on my tank stick, the game will exit back to hyperspin but the controller will not work any longer.  I have to then restart the computer to have the controller be responsive again.

I am using rocket launcher to load the games.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

I believe I figured out what it was...

In hyperhq I disabled the trackball (its really not needed for hyperspin).  The trackball games still work since the emulators have nothing to do with hyperspin.
