HyperSpin locks up when trying to open one MAME game

Hello all,

I have encountered an interesting issue.  I am trying to open the MAME game Sexy Parodius and when I click on it Hyperspin goes completely black and I have to close down hyperspin using the task manager.  I did download the media from Filezilla for this game.   Has anyone every encountered an issue like this with another game?  Could it be that the media is creating a conflict with running the game or something?  I haven't downloaded a video snippit for the game yet.

Any help or insight to the problem would be very greatly appreciated.
