Delay Between Keypresses

when in hyperspin not any emulator. When pressing buttons i have to wait about 8 seconds to press the next.

Example if exiting i press escape then i have to wait 8 before i press the button to accept yes or no

also have a bit of a delay between choosing an emulator and the games list showing.
