Hyperspin and RetroArch 15Khz problem

Hi all, i am hoping someone has come across this.

I have Hyperspin setup in an arcade cab with CRT Emu driver and a J-Pac.

I am using MAME for the classic and Neo Geo roms, and i have RetroArch for SNES and Genesis.

Mame works fine but when i launch a SNES or Genesis game RetroArch does not output at 15Khz so no video. What has me wondering is that if i launch the rom via RetroArch direct i.e not via Hyperspin it works OK.

It looks like something is different in the way the rom gets launched via hyperspin. I am hoping i have have just missed something silly in the Hyperspin setup.

Any help greatly appreciated as i have hit a brick wall with this problem.
