hyperBEN Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Just wondering how a fix for the latest version of Windows 10 (2004) is coming along... There's no going back to a previous version for me (and I'm sure that's the case for others as well) so here we are stuck with broken HyperSpin setups until a fix or workaround or SOMETHING becomes available for the latest version of Windows. Really sucks too because I was just getting back into it again since the last time Windows broke it in 2018. I know it's not your guys's fault (it's Windows) but we're going on over a month now (in quarantine mind you) with nothing to do but hope that a fix is right around the corner. Please let us all know when we can expect an update or something that will get us back in the game. Thanks!
pacifikballa Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Shoulda scrolled down a few more posts you would have seen that we have a fix. Your welcome
hyperBEN Posted June 29, 2020 Author Posted June 29, 2020 Son of a gun...that worked! I actually pulled the file from an old Windows 7 PC of mine. Not sure why sxs.dll is so damn important and why it changed in the Win10.2004 release, but who cares! HyperSpin is working again. Maybe all important .dll files like this that HyperSpin uses should be bundled in the HyperSpin folder from now on so that when Microsoft inevitably BREAKS their O.S. again we can continue on like nothing has happened. Thanks man!
