Asteroids theme crashing Hyperspin

Hey guys, I’m sure this issue has been resolved eons ago, but I am relatively new to the emulation game and cannot find the fix. I was hoping someone could give me detailed instructions on how to fix my Asteroids theme in Hyperspin. When I stop on the theme it crashes my computer with a black screen and will not load the game. The game works perfectly when I load it though Rocketlauncher. Any idea’s would be greatly appreciated!

Let's see, from your description, the possible error is not clear to me, if the crash occurs when you stop at the game wheel and the theme locks, the theme changes, because it is either wrong or corrupt, if on the contrary , the theme if it comes out and what it does not do is enter the game, specify a little more for a possible solution. Ok, so when I spin the wheel and land on the Asteroids title,  the entire screen goes black after a second or 2 of landing on it. At this point I have to reset the entire computer because it is frozen and will not respond to any input.

Well, remove the theme of that game, that can happen when there is a corrupt theme or an image of the logo of the corrupt wheel, if you do not have or find another theme of that game, remove it, and copy another that you have and rename it and you can start the game.

Uh oh, I think I messed up! What exactly is the theme?  The item that I am talking about the title “Asteroids” that looks like the original arcade marquee on the hyperspin wheel.  Can I use the file you sent or is that something different?

A theme is the presentation file of a game, there may be one for each game or a default one for the entire system, you will find it in the folder media / system name / theme, and yes, the link that I have put is the theme of the game, so I make a recommendation to you, watch videos with start-up tutorials in hyperspin, since you will learn and solve doubts to have a few basic notions, because if you don't you are going to attack and everything is going to be a problem, a greetings.
