drjea2010 Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 I have given up on nullDC, Retroarch, and most other emus to run DC on my Windows XP arcade cabinet (win32). Then I found Redream, testing it on my Windows 11 workstation. Works AMAZING! Tried to install on my cab, but it only has a x64 bit version right now. Any help, guidance, suggestions? I don't even care if I can/can't get it working in Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher right now. I'd be happy just to have it working as a standalone program. Anyone have a recommendation? (I don't want to upgrade my system, out of fear that--having read plenty on it--it would mess up all my other settings, configurations, and everything working nicely as it does now). But, would downloading a new/updated driver for my Intel Q965/Q963 express chipset family card make a difference? Looks like I'm currently on a 2008 driver, and googling shows me it has been updated through 2012. BUT, would this break any compatability I currently have with other emus and RL/HS, or won't it make any difference? Would it eliminate the sputtering and low FPS on dreamcast emulation in nullDC? Posted images about my system that may be helpful. Should this be able to run nullDC without stuttering (it doesnt). Redream? Thanks in advance!
