Lucky1 Posted yesterday at 06:01 AM Posted yesterday at 06:01 AM Hi, reaching out to the artists and content creators... I have an Centuri cabinet (Phoenix type) in which there is a game called Kiki KaiKai (Knight Boy (Bootleg)). I want do add some custom artwork on my cabinet. I have a Marquee, but it needs a control panel overlay and eventually, a decent bezel artwork as well. I've worked on a file and I'd like to know if you guys have any artistic direction to give me. At some point, it was too crowded with all the bosses (Preview 2) and ended up removing some graphics. The temporary green horizontal lines are where the control panel bends. Even the preview 1 is busy overall... I don't know if the black background is suitable. Anyhow, let me know what you guys think. Thanks For those who don't know what game I'm talking about : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVXrI0Pions&ab_channel=OmKol It was later called Porky and Rocky on the SNES. and other consoles.
rondar Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I think you're definitely headed in the right direction. Instead of the textured tile patterns, you could try some bold color blocking and lines similar to these. I think the black bg looks great against the bright colors, but some additional color could help. 1 Beer Me! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Lucky1 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago @rondar This is what I needed. Thanks, good advice. I like the black and the yellow bottom part. I think the brown beige textured tiles are boring after all. Let me know what you think of these...
rondar Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago What a huge difference! Those look awesome and much more professional imo. I agree the black and yellow lower portions look best. I guess the final decision would depend on your marquee and future bezel. Which of those options would complement the other parts the most? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
