I just dont understand how to get it to work properly. Iv Run Demul with zipped dreamcast CDI (Worked perfectly) and 7z CDI and it would not extract. I changed the global settings in HyperlaunchHQ under settings and main settings.

Could someone direct me to a video or a guide that will help me without asking to many questions.

Can you extract the 7z file outside of HyperLaunch? Also have you tried the support on other systems? Demul will actually accept a zip file so HL doesn't have to extract it.

Test you 7z files outside of HL and try on a different system, not MAME as the accepts zips too.

Oh also, specific errors either from the screen or the log would be a great help in troubleshooting.

Yeah, sorry about not posting the log as im not sure how to do it. I was able to extract the 7z outside hyperspin/launch, But i figured out what was wrong. The 7z.dll was corrupt. I updated the command line 7z.exe and dll in the hyperlaunch Module Extention folder and everything started working again. Snes, N64, and Demul all worked. But i have one more question. Why dont the files extracted to the Temp folder i selected erase after i close the game?

Edit: I have the "Delete Temporary" selected in global set to ture.

Awesome good work sorting it!

Are the files actually still there? Because the folders will remain when that option is selected but the actual rom file will be deleted.

If the rom file is still there, check the permissions on the temp folder.

You were absolutely right. For whatever reason the main folder was set to read only so it wont delete by itself. The problem is I CANT CHANGE IT FROM READ ONLY lol. But, ill figure it out. Thanks for your time.

Boom.

How can't you change it? What's happening? Also check the security permissions and ownership of the folder.
