The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Disabling and enabling U360 joysticks

I have 5 or 6 PC games on my wheel that will not operate properly with any type of game controller connected. Upon start up, the menus just continuously scroll up and down making the games impossible to play. Unfortunately, my U360 is not easily accessible, or I could just unplug it when playing those games. Is there a way to disable the U360 upon start up of certain games and re-enable them upon close?

trying adding joytokey to the start up script. it will mapp the joystick to key inputs. there is another program I can't remember what that when loaded will disable the mapping.

I'll give this a try, but I don't think it will work as the U360 will still show up under devices in Windows.

Do you have joystick enabled in HyperHQ?

It's actually not an issue with Hyperspin, it is just an issue with certain PC Games that go berserk with any type of controller plugged in. Max the Curse of Brotherhood for example... If I start it up with the U360's plugged in, it just scrolls through the menus. I can click things with the mouse, as it scrolls, but it is impossible to control. If I start the game, the character continues walking in one direction. If I try to change direction, it's like playing tug of war. If I unplug the U360, the game functions normally. This would not be a huge problem, but I have to open the control panel on my pedestal to unplug it, which is a bit of a hassle.
