Xpadder closes after keymapper is enabled?

I went ahead and created a custom controller layout for the ssf saturn emulator. And in order to actually use it, I had to turn on keymapper. Which I guess, loads the profile. And it seems to work, only thing is, when I exit out of the emulator, xpadder is not in ram, ether closes, or crashes. Is this normal? Or do I have to manually start it every time again?

If it is not normal, how do I get it to open back up with the default profile. Anybody else experience this. Thanks for your time.

I believe you would have to make a frontend profile for it to load back up when it goes back to the frontend

You mean the one in the default global folder under profiles? I did make one. Or are you speaking about something else?
