Xpadder stops working after exitting emulator?

Hi all,

I'm having some issues with my xpadder/xbox360 controller not working after I close out of an emulator (using the ESC key). I've set my HyperHQ to automatically launch xpadder when Hyperspin starts, and even though I still can't figure out how to get it to launch xpadder minimized-- it seems to work until I use an emulator and then exit back to the Hyperspin wheel. I've read several threads with similar issues that i'm having but I can't seem to get any of the suggestions to work for me. The conclusion i've come to is that it has something to do with the switching of profiles when I exit out of the emulator, but i'm totally confused about how the switching of profiles works within HyperlaunchHQ. I was wondering if perhaps there is someone out there who wouldn't mind helping me figure this one out? I'd greatly appreciate it!

I have same problem , every time I exit from emu and back to hyperspin menu , xpadder dont switch the profile .

right now I stoped HHQ from switch my profile and let xpadder to use autoprofile , its not the best fix and I really want to use hyperlaunchHQ in setup my profile like per game profile but too sad dont know why this problem happened :(

I had the same problem and gave up. Now I just configure the controller within each emulator using their mapper. I have xpadder set to startup with windows minimized with only four buttons mapped (D-pad) that I don't use in any emulators, I use these for alt/f4 and others since I use XBMC as my main frontend to launch hyperspin.

I bet if you map a button to alt/f4 instead of escape it will work for you.

BTW: I'm using two official wireless 360 controllers with a hacked rf module pulled from a RROD 360 as the receiver.

Thanks for the input firecraft and helltick1. I resolved my issue, but i'm not exactly certain how I did. It was a lot of trial and error with the keymapper settings in HyperlaunchHQ. I believe what I did to get it to finally work was to start from scratch with xpadder -- creating new profiles. Then I went into HyperlaunchHQ and made sure keymapper was set to 'true' and 'xpadder' for my GLOBAL. I then went down the other list of systems and switched keymapper to 'false' instead of 'use global'. I think doing this stopped Hyperspin from getting confused when I was backing out of an emulator. I believe this is why it worked for me. Give it a try, and if it doesn't I'll look into some of my other settings that I've changed and see if I can help you out!

Finally

I found the problem.

in HyperLaunchHQ go to Global > Keymapper >here go to Blank .......... yes blank <_<; you see this blank ? this is the profile hyperspin will use it after you exit from emulator and back to hyperspin menu xD

dont ask me why he back to blank but that what happened to me when I was read the log and see what hyperlaunch is trying to lead

so the fix is change your blank profile and map all the keys you want to use it for hyperspin menu ^_^

off topic : you know this problem I have it from first time I used hyperspin ; ; , there was no real fix for it till today >_<
