F4LL3NH3ART Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Hey guys, This is my first post to the hyperspin forums, I've spent hours trying to work out how to layout my controls how I want them but I'm stumped; Basically I am using xPadder with 4 xbox360 controllers, 2 hacked wired pads with arcade buttons/sticks and 2 standard wired pads for dual analog games I have two xbox360 controllers that I have pulled apart, soldered and attached my arcade buttons and joysticks to the respective Dpads I have a few queries; The main issue I am trying to deal with, is how to set the analog stick(s) of the pads to work with my emulators Project 64 for example I will need to map atleast the left stick to the actual controllers instead of keyboard keys or I will not be able to use the full analog range in games like Golden Eye, etc, How can I use the digital keys the arcade stick will be pressing for the left stick with the hacked pads but also get the full analog range when the other wired controllers are connected without re-configuring my gamepad settings every 5 minutes? I thought of possibly using xpadder to map the analogs of the non hacked pads into keys then using a program like This to convert it back to joystick and allowing me to map the hacked pads to those keys as well, is this feasible? How can I automate the profile swaps? I was thinking of sacrificing one of the buttons on the hacked pads to make a hot-key set up to a batch file to run xpadder and the two extra profiles and set blank profiles for the hacked pads to stop interference from them whilst using the normal pads, also, How could I reverse the swaps? or should I use two buttons, each set to a hot key with corresponding profiles (this is an ugly work around, but possible I guess, I also have no problems sacrificing a button on each controller as I have the guide button configured to esc) Thanks guys, I can't wait to get my cab rocking and relive my childhood, Cheers
