Weird issue with HyperlaunchHQ not opening

Hi, I had Hyperlaunch HQ running fine a few months back when I was setting up Hyperspin, with the download update system in place. However, when I tried using HQ it won't open - it'll briefly appear in my task manager as a background process briefly before disappearing. So I've decided to try to re-install the whole package, start fresh (been meaning to) and yet, even with the new Hyperlaunch 1.1.1.3 it's doing the same thing...it won't open at all. Just briefly pops up on the background processes in task manager before closing itself. I have Windows 8, but I haven't had any problems as a few months ago with HyperlaunchHQ, and I haven't really changed anything. Is there something else I can do or you guys know what's up?
