Kiwifruit Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I'm after some help-I've recently just bought a flat pack kit for a Bartop arcade, but realise I don't know how to mount the monitor-any ideas/photos of how you've mounted yours would be much appreciated!
Tredog Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 LCD Monitor? How thick is the flat pack material? I just cut through the exact measurement of the view-able screen, then route out down to 1/4in of material on the rear side of the wood to the exact size of the de-cased monitor. The monitor fit snug in the routed area, and I used metal bracket in all 4 corners to hold the monitor in the routed area. Used small rubber bumpers where the metal brackets push against the monitor, and only snugged the screws so to not damage the monitor. Hope this helps and I am sure there are 100 other ways of doing it as well.
