Cannot get into any sub-wheels

I did a new cab build and transferred my completely working Hyperspin system into it.

 

I could not enter any subwheels. Screen would fade then go back to main menu.

 

Did a fresh install of an OS and Hyperspin/Hyperlauch/Hypersync

 

Used Hypersync (note that I did not on my other Hyperspin install).

 

Went through normal hyperspin/hyperlaunch setup process (followed guide here on forums)

 

Setup MAME with a custom XML list that has mature filtered out and other such things.

 

Checked system with hyperlaunch, works perfectly, can launch anything.

 

Launch hyperspin and still the same problem not being able to get into subwheels/systems.

 

Any help?
