Raging_Daemon Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Hello Recently I found about an awesome emulator called RetroArch because of this forum and I have gone and gotten it set up with a load of systems and I love it. I have got PSX set up with the necessary Bios files in the system directory. It seems like Sega CD should be a very similar setup. I got the bios named as bios_CD_U.bin (as well as the other two regions named appropriately) as RetroArch requests and it is in the system directory. I can see in Core Information that the bios files are 'Present' and I have loaded European and American region games no problem. When I try to run a Sega CD game through RetroArch via Hyperlaunch HQ I get the black screen and a message saying RetroArch requires bios_CD_E.bin for Sega CD but could not find it in your system_directory ''\:system". Also I find it odd that it mentions the Euro bios when I was trying to run the Euro AND American versions of Sonic CD. I am quite stumped on this and I would really appreciate any assistance on this please. Thank you.
Raging_Daemon Posted May 1, 2015 Author Posted May 1, 2015 I should mention that the core I am using is genesis plus GX which I think looks better than Pico. I have looked over the module and I still cannot see what could possibly be wrong. It works just fine outside of Hyperspin/HyperLaunch
