[BUG?] Hyperspin won't load games after pressing ESC on MAME

Happened to me twice. I was playing a game that needed to have keys configured. When I pressed ESC, instead of closing MAME's menu, I got kicked back to HS. Tried to reload the game but got stuck on HS. Tried another game, no avail. Closed HS and can't load ANY game at ALL. Happened to an old HS setup I had too. Why is that?

That did the trick. Unfortunately, whenever I close a game by pressing ESC, the process gets stuck...

 

I've set up everything from grounds up from a guide on the internet.

 

One thing that I found weird was the fact that HS and RL are separate programs but they're intrinsecaly tied - every guide on the internet mentions you need both. Why devs don't make a pack with everthing? The first set-up is a bit traumatic, even for someone that works with computers (like me). Way too many options on Launcher and too little on Spin.
