The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Questions about 'Database Audits' and 'System Sounds'

Hi everyone.  I'm relatively new to Hyperspin and I've been reading documentation to try and answer my own questions, but the following have me stumped.  Can anyone assist?

1) Is there an easy way to change the sounds that play when spinning the wheel?

2) Where does RocketLauncher get its MASTER list to compare my ROM database during an audit?  For example, I see SEGA CD lists 171 total ROMS (of which I have 131).  How did the system arrive at 171 as being a complete ROM set?

3) When I run an AUDIT, the system returns false negatives by saying I don't have a certain ROM (when I do).  How can I assist the AUDIT feature to point to the 'missing' ROM?

4) During a FULL SYSTEM AUDIT, some systems return 'Database Error' in the results list.  Can anyone assist in helping me determine the root-cause of this error?  I tried the ERROR LOG but it didn't have any useful information.

Thanks!

1) yes

2) HyperSpin database

3) Then your game name does not match the database name exactly

4) Most likely an invalid xml character, usually apostrophe or ampersand.

Thanks, your answers for #2-4 set me on my way.  For #1, can you direct me to a resource that shows how to change the sounds if you're unable to explain?
