Great Work mate,  i noticed 2 games though with the wrong cart:

    Shikinjoh (Japan)

When I collected source images for these 2 particular games I did notice the the cart looked funny. I didnt know if it was a bad scan or what. But thanks for pointing that out. Do you have a template for that particular japanese cart? I must have missed it.

  2. Finding a complete Sega Genesis cart art set is a challenge. There are complete sets out there, you just have to find bits and pieces and put them together. And the quality of original Genesis cart set is standard to low quality. Well I decided to redo the entire set in high quality, more accurate quality as well. I made cartridge art for all games in the current 1.3 database. This includes all USA games, some Japanese and European exclusives and of course all the unlicensed and prototype games. This took me a long time because I originally started this set last year and I got to the letter N, but my hard drive crashed and all my work was gone (no backups). So I had to start over and I am glad I did. I took my time the second time around. I collected and made templates for all known cart types. Here are some examples:

As you can see they are high quality and cleaned up nicely. They need to be shrunk down to use with Hyperspin though. I uploaded the full set (all 942 games in the 1.3 database, including alternates for some games). I also included templates for each of the cartridge types for those that want to replace existing or create their own. Enjoy this much needed set and have fun adding or creating your own! With the templates some of you can make a full Euro and Japanese set. If you have any questions let me know.

  3. oh these NES boxes are perfect. The scale is just right. Original NES boxes had skinny spines, not fat spines like the last set I uploaded. At first I didnt mind the NES logo branding on all the spines, but now I hate them. I collected those scans from the old ftp, I think the custom spines were made to be printed out for cases like the Sega Genesis used. This set will look fantastic, look forward to it.

  4. Is the artwork4 link the same content as the download link in post 1?

Yes, the "artwork4" link is the same exact content in the download link, it's just resized to a smaller dimension to be used with most Hyperspin system themes. I know most users can resive themeselves I just thought it was something a little extras to add.

  5. This is an absolutely amazing pack.  It will be hard to live up to it when adding to it later, and that is a good thing.  Thanks!

I forgot to upload Cart templates my bad. Here are Photoshop templates for each game if anyone would like to improve or makes carts for future games not yet in the database. I also included fonts needed for some of the templates! Sorry if some of the PSDs are messy, it's just the way I work.

  6. It's cartridge art time, and this time it's Colecovision. I dont think there has ever been a proper upload of ColecoVision carts before. There were many styles of cartridges used for this system, but I found some good scans and remade most of them in decent quality. I couldn't find scans of Team PixelBoy or Opcode games tho, but those titles arent even in the current database. Here are some samples:

The carts are much too big to be used in most Hyperspin system themes so here is a resized version to use in Hyperspin:

Enjoy these Hyperspinners. Feel free to upload any cart scans I may have missed.

  7. I made some box art for the much neglected Colecovision system. The current database is in great need of an update, but I included boxes for each game. I remade most of the boxes from scratch and included game boxes not in the current database. I could not find any decent 2D scans of the Opcode games. If anyone has those or others I haven't included please share them. Here are some samples:

  9. I went cart crazy again, this time for the Intellivision system. I could never find a collection of INTV carts, so I made my own from scratch. I rebuilt carts for every game. It wasnt so hard considering most games use standard Arial Black fonts for the logos. The standard cart is quite boring with just the game text, nothing else:

    This style:

    post-1126-0-53585200-1456255260_thumb.png post-1126-0-85229000-1456255523_thumb.png post-1126-0-20549000-1456255547_thumb.png

Very basic and boring. There are other cart styles:

    Imagic games

    post-1126-0-66309100-1456255366_thumb.png post-1126-0-98324700-1456255408_thumb.png post-1126-0-21212100-1456255465_thumb.png

    Interphase games:

    Coleco games:

    post-1126-0-35045400-1456255737_thumb.png post-1126-0-52409300-1456255755_thumb.png post-1126-0-70243400-1456255763_thumb.png

    Atarisoft games:

    post-1126-0-20672200-1456255773_thumb.png post-1126-0-15907000-1456255781_thumb.png post-1126-0-66441800-1456255795_thumb.png

    Parker Brothers games:

    post-1126-0-77035100-1456255811_thumb.png post-1126-0-70855900-1456255830_thumb.png post-1126-0-31408000-1456255842_thumb.png

I think the Imagic game carts look the best in my opinion. Here is a link to the full set:

I didn't stop there. lol. I also made cart tops:

    post-1126-0-84413600-1456256299_thumb.png post-1126-0-57390000-1456256309_thumb.png post-1126-0-89603800-1456256318_thumb.png

They look pretty cool and can be used as wheel art. Some cart tops had to be custom because not all cartridges had tops (Imagic, Atarisoft, Activision) Although many of the Activision games where also released on standard digipaks. I included the plain stickers in case you want to use your own template:

I wanted to create a 3D cart set because I had two 3D templates, but they were only for the standard boring carts. Here are examples of two different cart styles I made for the 3D set:

    Style A:
    post-1126-0-56922800-1456256933_thumb.png post-1126-0-18882700-1456256944_thumb.png post-1126-0-45708900-1456256964_thumb.png

    Style B:
    post-1126-0-22426500-1456257018_thumb.png post-1126-0-35824900-1456257031_thumb.png post-1126-0-38996600-1456257048_thumb.png

As you can see some games had to be custom for using the 3D set, but they still look nice. Here is a download to these:

Well it was fun making these. If anyone wants to add these to the hypersync they can...I don't even need credit, as long as it's shared with the community. Speaking of sharing, sharing the finished work is great, but I am also going to share the template files. It's important to not only share the finished work, but also share the template and source files so other people can add stuff when a database is updated with more games at a later time.

  10. I made some cartridge art for the new Sega Master System 1.2 database. I was originally going to make all the carts using this template:

    post-1126-0-60692000-1455826425_thumb.png

It looked great that way. but to my disappointment all of the games did not use this cart template originally. Not only that, some games weren't even released on cartridges, but rather cards (like PC Engine Hucards). I wanted to have authentic carts for my setup, so I made these:

    post-1126-0-71411700-1455826660_thumb.png post-1126-0-31506000-1455826694_thumb.png

Most of these carts were completely remade from scratch. I uploaded them to the Download Section:

The above pack is not Hyperspin Theme ready, so I resized them to a much smaller resolution here:

And finally for those who want to improve or add carts of your own here are the Photoshop templates for all the cart styles including fonts:

    SMS-Cart-Templates.rar

Okay that should do it. Enjoy......and remember Sega does what NintenDON'T.

  11. Incredible work. A completed PS1 wheel set may very well be finished before the release of Star Wars: Episode VII <~~~~~If anyone made that prediction 5 years ago (this thread was started in March 2011!) they would have been laughed off the forums. I wish I could have contributed more, but I am a shitty magic wand guy. I am looking at the list of missing wheels:

    Last Report, The (Europe)

    Running Wild (USA)
    Sampras Extreme Tennis (Europe)
    Speed Machines (Europe)
    Sports Superbike (Europe)

There are 2 USA game wheels I could not find since this thread started, I even searched all 72 pages and I could not find these 2 USA wheels:

Pitfall 3D - Beyond the Jungle (USA)

    MTV Sports - Snowboarding (USA)

Well I am not very good at making wheels, but I made MTV Sports - Snowboarding (USA) anyway. It was very easy to make even Michael J. Fox could have done it (sorry if that jokes offends anyone).

    post-1126-0-70966000-1448746630_thumb.png

Maybe someone made a better one and I just missed it. The Pitfall 3D - Beyond the Jungle (USA) is way beyond my abilities. Amazing work on the missing wheels and remakes. When the missing wheels are completed will a new database be released with a wheel pack? I am uploading a full 2D and 3D box art set for PS1 on the ftp now. A total of 1,807 boxes, all USA and EUROPE boxes, no JAPAN. All files will be located here: /Unsorted Submissions/Sony Playstation/WallyWonka. Good work guys!

I also noticed a mistake on one of the boxes I made. The box for Dizzy the Adventurer (USA) (Unl) was really using  a box for the game Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy, The (USA) (Unl). I thought they were the same game, but they are not. Dizzy the Adventurer was not a standalone game, it came with the Aladdin Deck Enhancer Accessory. For that I just used to accessory box.

  13. yep, there is another set I made a while ago with wider spines, but I made them a little slimmer this time because real NES boxes are not that thick. I redid all of the boxes with this way. I much prefer the slimmer spines over the fat ones for these boxes. I am not that anal when it comes to 100% authenticity. That's why I added the 2D stuff for anyone who wants to improve or add stuff. :)

  14. There is a new updated NES database made by brolly and damnregistrations that I made box art for. However, it's not complete as I need proper scans of the following custom box arts that I found online.

    D-Pad Hero:

    http://www.nes-city.com/DPad_Hero_I/p1146919_10188486.aspx

    D-Pad Hero II:

    Xybots:

    http://www.nes-city.com/Xybots_Manual_Available/p1146919_8916888.aspx

The scans provided are terrible and I can't work with them. If anyone can provide decent scans of those boxes this collection will be complete. Other than that I found or created artwork for the new games in the database. Here are some examples:

I know some people prefer 100% authentic looking NES spines, but I could only find spine scans with that NES logo. It really isn't bad at all and I actually prefer it. I am not uploading this to the download section because it's not complete and the stupid file size limit. If anyone wants to help complete this collection or improve some boxes I am also including some photoshop PSDs of the 2D spine, 2D Front and 3D boxes. Have fun. Here are the Download links:

  15. I made some box art images for the Sega SG-1000 Official 1.2 Database. 74 boxes in total. Unfortunately, I had to leave out Terebi Oekaki (Japan) because I could not find a decent scan or pic of the box anywhere. If anyone has a decent scan of the box please share it. It's more of an accessory than it is a game anyway. I remade most of the boxes from scratch. They are high quality for the most part except Space Mountain (Japan). I couldn't find a decent scan of that one either. I uploaded 2D and 3D sets separately. Maybe someone else wants to make slightly more accurate 3D boxes because the Sega My Card boxes have slimmer spines than the Cartridge boxes. I just made all the 3D boxes the same size. Here are links to the download section and some examples: Have fun.

  16. I recently made 2D PSX covers for all USA and Euro games in the current database (no Lightspan covers, couldn't find a single one). All boxes are sized at 600x600 and are pretty decent quality. 1,087 boxes in total. I didn't include Greatest Hits cover, originals only. The current database is a total mess so I ignored all games with (1.1, 1.2, etc). Hopefully the database will be sorted out soon removing all the pointless Lighspan games as well, I could not find any covers for those or even custom covers.

  17. I didn't put in the download section because the full set is already available in Hypersync. I would upload it to the download section but I am not even sure the set I made is complete or if a new Magnavox Odyssey 2 database is available, I made these boxes almost 2 years ago. Is the download section completely replacing the ftp? The ftp was messy sure, but I hope it makes a return.

  18. wow this is incredible! I've waited for this set for a long time! No more ugly cart top wheels. I downloaded all the wheels and they look amazing. There was only one missing wheel: WordZap (USA) but I'll just ignore it. I looked at the box art for that one and creating a logo from that box will be a real challenge. I want to keep all of these games in my XML (even the Japanese games) but there is no way I'll find them all, especially the translated english ones. I hope someone uploads a complete set somewhere. Maybe I will just keep USA and Europe for now. I have all of those, except Game & Watch Gallery 2 (USA). I could only find a GBC rom. Is that even a Game Boy mono game?

Anyway, great work on this often neglected system!

  19. Wally Wonka which Programm is good to resize the Cart Art that i lost not much Quality??

for resizing multiple images at once I use a program called Advanced Batch Converter 7. It's a shareware program though. I also use batch processing in Photoshop as a last resort. I am sure there are simpler, free solutions out there to batch resize images, but you'll have to do some investigating. And there will always be quality loss when you resize an image, no matter what method you use. If you are making the image smaller than the source size you won't degrade the image as much or at all. If you are resizing it larger you'll see major quality loss that way. Good luck.

  20. okay i try it this Weekend but maybe there is a new Cart art set coming out with HS 2.0 i know ist coming out soon

Many New Sets Boxarts and and all that Stuff coming out with 2.0...Soon you will see

Newer, I told you in another post to go here on the ftp:

    /Upload Here/WallyWonka/Nintendo Game Boy/Carts

I completed Sub-Zeros GB cart set recently using his template. All 565 games in the current database. I did GBC carts as well. You may have to resize them for your current theme (I mentioned that in your original post as well lol) Good luck, I hope you read this pal.
