  1. Doesn't seem to be anything larger than 26.5". I might just get what your suggesting. What controller hardware are you refering to? I needs something special for output?
  2. Hmmm... Looks perfect but demensions are a little small. Says its basicly 19" x 19". Unless they are wrong about the LxW. That what yours is? 19x19
  3. I am searching for a square/4:3 monitor that would fit my arcade cabinet. Which is about 25"x25". I am guessing around a 24" monitor/tv would fit. An company or site, monitor or TV, hell I would even consider a CRT! Thanks in advance!!

    Stella 4.5

    I finally got a little hands on and it seems to just run smoother. Other then that I don't see and big changes. UI is the same and every game I tested ran the same. Smooth and great.

    Stella 4.5

    Stella 4.5 has been released. Stella is now C++, has anyone used it yet? Curious how it will run now and how much more improved it is? UI changes? You can get it here if you have not downloaded it yet. Let me know what your opinions are of the new change.
  10. They just updated it to the big 2.0. Wonder if they fixed alot of stuff. Again its all in Russian so I can;t read any of it or see whats been updated.
  11. Yeah I had no issues with 4DO with street fighter. And I agree with Brolly. Though they claim 99% I doubt it also. I would put my money on 4DO for being closer to 99% though I would think they are that either. I haven't had time to try Phoenix yet. But anyone know of an English translated version?
  12. If you can't get a working modual, try running it by its self to see if it runs better or fixes issues that are there in 4DO. Phoenix claims 99% comparability.
  13. I see 1.9 is the latest, but anyone know if there is an english version? I want to see it is better then 4DO
  14. I agree with you aorin1. Just love that it allows you to use images instead of needing ISO mounting or the discs. Someday it will catch up to the comparability of SSF. As long as they keep working on it.
  15. Awesome... I look forward to seeing how it holds up now!
  16. I havent had chance to look but might be in one of tbe files no? Release notes or version history.
  17. Yabause finally released version 0.9.14 a few days ago! You can get it here. I wonder how it stacks up now? Let me know how well it does now. Since its the next best emulator that runs disc images instead of needing discs or other software to handle images.
  18. Yeah I have been to the download page you showed... its the 2010 release. Am hoping to get the more current git version. I checked their forums... and it has unofficial builds from 2012.
  19. I been wanting to try the Nintendo 64 emulator "Gekko". From what I read, git version 6/7/2013 is the last version available. Can any one confirm that or if their is a newer version.... but more importantly provide an actual working link to the emulator? I tried several sites and even looking up torrents and can't get my hands on it. All the links I find have those file share sites expired links. Thank you!!
  20. Well, I found another version of Project 64 2.1.0.1 for those of you who missed it's release like I did Was officially released on the first according to the official site. However as ussual now, the installer from the official site is loaded with bloat ware. Get it here with bloat ware & installer removed. You can place it anywhere and just run it. PROJECT 64 2.1.0.1

    bsnes = higan

    I definitely agree. Though it is an amazing emu over all, it is a major pain to use. Converting roms and so on. However, since I use zsnes, it might behoove me to use higan to help garantee proper function in future windows releases compared to DOS based zsnes.

    bsnes = higan

    bsnes was a multi-system for a while. they implemented NDS at version .90. and all the older ones way before that. Byuu clearly stats higan is the new name for bsnes. "The first official release of higan has been posted. higan is the new name for bsnes, and it continues with the latter's version numbering."

    bsnes = higan

    So, apparently byuu has changed the name of "bsnes" to "higan" and has released a new version accordingly with the new name. So... for those of you whom use bsnes, now you get higan. same thing just different name. higan (bsnes) 0.92 is now released. Not sure why the name change, but I liked the original name. Higan is a Japanese holiday for Buddhists. I think from Spring to Autumn. Hope it is not a temporary name from spring to autumn.

    Relative Paths

    What I did is have the entire emulation project in one folder "Emulation", to include HS and all my emulators. All my paths are based on D:, but can be whatever you want. My current project folder is 30 gb. So, whenever I move this project to another computer, I just use storage manager to partition the hardrive you want to use and set the drive letter for the EMUs. Then all you have to do is move it and it works just fine. Or if you have a portable, just use storage manager to rename it to the letter you need. If you used C:, then it will be a one time change for your paths to get to a higher letter of your choosing for easier transfer.
