ahh okok i normally use Windows but I can make an ahk version or if it is much work just use some Linux dist to run it. Thanks... Hopefully mame bezels will make mame run smoother... As they work on full screen right? RL bezels works great with aero enabled in win 7... But Retroarch works better with aero disabled ... Anyway all emus works smoother in full screen so this might help.

Ok, uploading the set now to the set in http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/13795-mame-wheel-art/ to an artwork_mz directory. I'm sure I'll need to fine tune the script a bit more, and I want to try and integrate the two sets for even more choice, but for now this will have to do.

I can't download this i finallly decide to use the mame default bezels due to this pack...  please put it online again

yep making ods/csv/xml files by hand for most part. anyway to scrape the information would save a lot of time, I did use gscrape but it was limited to 25 entries per click.

do you know a way I can scrape mobygames

 

TheGamesDB.net gives you an api, mobygames don't son is very difficult to get data from them (https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/features/why-no-mobygames-com-support).

 

If we all contribute to one central location where all games information is stored... whe can create an app to format that data the way we want... thats my current goal... but i want to make it in C++ as i want to learn so it will takeme a wile... just compile a test app with libcurl... not even start coding, just seting up the IDE takes me time

Its cool I think we have all taken some breaks.  Im still working on PSP ODS and the covers.  But took a week off.  

 

This ODS files store information about games... this are automatically generated?... you made them by hand?

 

I'm testing http://thegamesdb.net right now as I see that is an online resourse to store information about games of all platforms, and have an API to get all this information by game name... or with an unique ID that identify a game.

Mm i have some of the original bezels you posted here. But i pick them manual y or via script to have the bezels the way i like (original bezels AND full screen bezels for 16:9 so you start the game and play the with the small screen or using the full height of the screen with the sides with artwork) but don't update since last year... I suppose this pack must be installed alone and not mixed with other bezels right?

Wow guys Great work here nice to see all gbc wheels combined just checking the forums after some months great themes and art happening here. Hope I can come back to this hobbie soon. I'm building my new home with a nice living room to place my setup with an HDTV
