First of all, I hope this is the right place to post about my problem, otherwise I can move this topic in a different part of the forums/platform.
In short, while in HyperSpin's game wheel, I accidentally long pressed the favourite button, and this seemed to cause the commands to become unresponsive. I then had to Alt+F4 HyperSpin and restart the computer. After turning both back on, I discovered that I could not access anymore the games from the system wheel.
Instead, when in the system wheel, on all systems, every time I press the Enter button, the animation makes it look like it's moving to the system's game database, but it doesn't and it instead goes back to the main menu. I attached a log of the problem, but it doesn't show much.
The only differences compared to the issue mentioned in that reddit thread is that, it was working fine at some point earlier but then stopped ; and that this problem affects all the systems present in the wheel, not a specific one.
The end result is that it's currently useless, since none of the games can be started through HyperSpin.
I'm not familiar at all with hyperspin and its debugging (wasn't the one to build this arcade cabinet), so I'm not sure what information or files to attach in this post, but I'll provide those whenever needed. Also, here is what I have tried so far:
- Starting individual games via HyperLaunch. No problems, they start normally.
- Comparing the settings in HyperHQ with the ones from another (working) arcade cabinet of the same making with virtually the same configuration. No differences noted.
- Checking a few file paths in different emulator xml files and settings files, didn't notice anything but I don't know the folder architecture well, I could have missed some.
Any clue as to why this could be happening, or any similar problem in mind?
