  • After this last update to HyperHQ, version 2.0.54, the media does not display in HyperSpin.  The clear logos are missing from the wheel and none of the videos play.  I have tried deleting all media and reinstalling using the HyperHQ tool, and I cleared all caches.  But when I start HyperSpin, all of the wheel art is text and the videos are the default TV static video.

All of the videos and logos are in their corresponding media folders after they were downloaded from EmuMovies by HyperSpin.  It appears they're not being associated to the games properly.

Just wondering if there's going to be any resolution to this?  I see it's been viewed quite a bit, but in two weeks, no admin has responded to say it's being looked at.  I hope this gets some resolution soon.  This makes QA testing quite difficult not knowing if this is affecting other aspects of the application.

Did you delete the .HyperHQ and .HyperSpin folders in the logged in User directory? I had similar issues and tried multiple installs. Mine were in C:\Users\arcade Removing those 2 folders fixed my issue and allowed for a fresh working install.

Yes, it was a clean install for all instances.  The thing is, I shouldn't have to do a clean install every time there's an update.  The update itself should not break something simply because it is overwriting files and changes the process.

I fully expect there will be times for destruction and rebuilding from scratch knowing that this is a beta. I have spent a lot of time house cleaning, rom renaming and, obtaining media for the emulators and welcome the wizards and automated reconciliation of my ROM library. Until this is final product, it sits alongside my version 1.5.1 which allows me to use the system and the switch to testing the new HS2.0. My guess is for you there is a folder, perhaps hidden that is holding on to settings for you.
