Installed the latest version of HyperHQ, 2.0.179, with a clean install. I noticed that after the HyperSpin plugin installed, there was no HyperSpin logo on my desktop. When I tried creating the MAME system, the process kept getting stuck at the version selection screen because there were no versions listed. I figured the plugin wasn't active, so I went to the plugins screen and clicked on "Start" on the MAME plugin. An error message popped up saying the MAME.EXE could not be found. I went to the plugins folder in HyperSpin and opened the MAME folder. The only items in there are the icon folder with the MAME PNG file and the metadata.json file. Out of curiosity I went into all the other folders in the Plugins folder and they all had the same thing. Just the icon folder with the PNG file in it for whatever the plugin is and the metadata.json file. Please see the images below.
