earthprime Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I've setup Video Game Commercials in my wheel and have a ton of videos. However, I need to specify an 'emulator' to play the videos within Hyperspin. What program should I use as the 'emulator' to play videos?
Awakened Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 RetroArch has a built in video player as of 1.2 that is based on FFmpeg. You can even use shaders on top of videos running in it. It crashed when I tried to play a wmv file though, so I guess it doesn't support as many formats as a dedicated player does. I'd recommend mpv if you want to use a dedicated player, since it's fast, has everything built in (no codec pack required) and has better quality playback than vlc.
