Exiting out of Favorites menu problem

Hi everyone,

I am having a issue with my Hyperspin setup.  Maybe someone can help.  I am running a single wheel MAME build in Hyperspin.  I am able to add games to favorites and go to my favorites wheel, however with the single wheel setup there is no way to exit back to my main MAME wheel by using the escape key ( or any key ).  The only way is to then go to "genre" and select "All Games" from that menu.

If I am using a multi wheel setup, exiting out of favorites with the Escape key works like a charm, but its a no go with a single wheel build.  Has anyone else seen this issue?  Is there something im missing or doing wrong? I went through all the control options in HyperHQ and I just cant seem to make it work.  Thanks for the help.

I've seen this behavior as well. Personally I think they should simply add a "View All Games" option to the Favorites menu so you can easily toggle between your favorites and the full list.

yeah, it seems like a bug to me or a omission in the code, they probably never expected anyone to actually use a single wheel setup.  like i said , it works fine using multi wheel..  weird

So I have been doing some more testing with multi vs single when and the favorites wheel.  It seems that when you are in the multi wheel setup and you are in a sub wheel favorites, when you hit esc, hyperspin takes you back to your main system wheel instead of the sub wheel that  you were previously in.  To me this doesn't make sense as to why the programmers did it this way but now I understand why you cant exit your favorites wheel back to your main wheel if you are using a single wheel setup.  The FE cannot distinguish between multi wheel and single wheel for using favorites so it will try and exit the application when you are using a single wheel.  I hope this makes sense.. I also wonder if there is a way to force it back to the previous wheel when using a single wheel setup?  Like maybe a ini file of something?
