pintris Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Hi, I have a PC games wheel in hyperspin. This works fine and I'm using the pclauncher module for this. In some games, you can have 3 or so "game profiles" to choose from, so you can save your game progress by selecting your own save file within the game. Some games however (most recent games actually) don't have ingame profiles, and just save their settings and game progress in the Windows Profile folder of the user i'm logged in with. The way they work is that they assume each user create his/her own windows profile and login at computer bootup. And the game settings are than stored in the windows profile. But on my hyperspin cab, I have only 1 windows profile, so when other people want to play these games, and run it via hyperspin, they see "my" game and can restart or continue it, but not start their own game, because hyperspin runs under my windows profile. I could setup a few profiles in windows, but how can I let hyperspin run that game "as that other user" ? I know there is a tool "runas" which allows to run a program as different user, but it's hard to integrate this into hyperspin. Did anyone else have this problem and found a way to launch games "as different windows user" ? Thanks Patrick
ghutch92 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/RunAs.htm If using rocketlauncher put this in the user functions init.ahk file along with some if-else statements so it only does it for certain games and maybe a gui to choose a user if you need to swap. See if the rocketlauncher developer team is interested in officially supporting this by posting on their website at www.rlauncher.com
