Hi,

I followd Austin's RetroArch guide on youtube,

the emu is starting when I click the .exe,

but hyperspin doesn't find any romssad.png

what am i doing wrong?

I am following his guide step by step,....

the only thing different, is that my sega genesis roms are in normal .zip format.

that should not be a problem,

I also tried the .7z format, but still no good,...

Need help,...

Just followed this vid for Nintendo 64, everything is ok, untill I want to start the emu in hyperlaunchHQ, at that moment it is taking far too long to load and than it crashes :-(

Hey thcdgaf,

thanks for the reply,

I really am a noob on this case,

I tried to start it from retroarch itself, but no luck.

In the video on youtube, I saw Austin doing it like it's nothing

and it works,....

but when I follow the same steps, it ain't working:(

I wanted to setup the n64 with retroarch, cause austin said in his video, this with this emu it looks really nice

and runs smooth,.....

so that's why i wanted to set it up in retroarch.

cause normaly, i was gonna use project 64, I know that one works just fine,....

So I hope Austin can comment also on this topic, and maybe point me in the right direction,

cause he got it up and running,....

But what is a rlui?

Grtz

I notice retroarch won't load any zips or 7z at least not for me I even tested it but out of rlui it worked got me puzzled but just unzipp em and go about that way I was newbie with retroarch but learn it well gotta open up retroarch and change few things directory where your roms is,the directory where bios goes which Is retroarch\system ,config per core needs to be set to on also save on exit I usually click off then setup mapping for system then if you hit save on exit to on just close out retroarch or either way need to renamed it to System you just setup go to retroarch find the configs folder for example Nintendo look for nestopia.cfg or similar to that
and core you using such as nestopia core for Nintendo watch Austin's video on retroarch hope this helps
