muppets4 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 When I run NES games in RetroArch they are playing fine. I like it to use de D3D driver and let the screen ratio 4:3 or decided by the emulator. But whenever I use HyperLaunch (Rocket) or HyperSpin to open a rom, Retroarch uses the GL driver and the screen sits left top of my monitor. Like Retroarch uses another config file when started through HS that I cannot find. Anyone care to help?
muppets4 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 Nothing special. I had it setup for Genesis, that is working great. So I just pointed RL to the rom dir and choose RA as my default emulator. That's it.
thcdgaf Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 You gotta change it in retroarch under drivers in settings Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk

muppets4 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 Did you follow the instructions to have system specific configs? In RL I saw only a few system specific settings. Some network settings, but nothing about the video settings. Where to look? Because as mentioned above, in RA all worked.
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Configs. You need to set things like this in the configs folder. Each system config labeled EXACTLY how Hyperspin likes them. Take a look at my retroarch vid for tips on how to save and use configs.

I somehow missed the part in RA where you pointed out to rename the config files to system names. Did that, and all is good. Maybe I have to go to sleep earlier (-:
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Haha, no worries mate. It's a pain in the ass, but I am glad you got it working mate. Give me a shout if you get stuck again or anything mate. Happy gaming!!
