newoski Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I'm trying to remap my XBOX 360 controllers on RetroArch 1.2r2. All other cores work fine with multiple controllers, but for some reason, the mupen64plus core is acting really strange. Controller #1 works fine, but then when I map Controller #2 it takes over as #1, making it impossible to map multiple controllers. Can anyone else confirm this bug?
aciovacco Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I have always had this problem with Retroarch. Tooks me days to figure it out. What I have to do is the following: 1. Make sure driver is set to dinput 2. Select the control type you want 3. select if you want to use analog stick L or R 4. Bind Control 1 5. Bind Control 2 (once you do this you will notice that control 2 takes over and also takes over control 1) 6. Bind Control 1 again (once you do this, control 1 will be bound and control 2 will be bound) 7. Save your new config
newoski Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 Thanks! I figured out a different solution that should be much easier... at least for my needs... I only remapped the A & B buttons. I left all other buttons alone. That seems to work perfectly
newoski Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 i can't remember if i did it via gui or simply by copy pasting in the config. I believe copy paste in the config is what worked
