lag in n64 007 golden eye through retroarch

hi guys,

i have turned off my shaders and vysnc and the game still lags. are there other possible options i can alter to make them run better?

N64 emulation is not perfect, in fact its far from it.  However I would say 99% of the more popular games work fine.  RA off the top of my head can use 2 cores and can have a number of plugins too.  Maybe have a dabble with those to see what combination works best for your setup?
