sreisig1 Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Hey guys, So I'm finally getting around to setting up LEDBlinky with my pacled64. I have a 2 player control panel. I have the input map configured and LEDBlinky pointing to the correct mame files. Launched The Simpsons game on MAME, and it lit the correct buttons along with wrong ones. Took my a while to figure out why, but realized in the mame default controls, Players 3 and 4 were using keycodes that i have set for Player 1 to use. Since I don't have a Player 3 and 4, I set all Player 3 and 4 controls to - . I can't figure out how to change the entries to none in MAME without it exiting MAME, It's Tab+Esc correct? I hit that and it exits MAME. Since my MAME isn't a UI where I can go into MAME by itself I don't know how to temporarily change the exit button so I can set some keycodes to None within MAME. So for now, - will have to do for now. Now for the real questions now that I gave you a quick background of what I've done so far. Launched The Simpsons again and it worked fine and lit correct buttons as well as start buttons WOOHOO!. Launched TMNT and same thing, lit correct buttons. Launched Area 51, and it didn't light the start buttons. I have "light start and coin buttons" ticked off in LEDBlinky as well as "Flash start buttons when game has credits". Why would it not light up the start buttons for Area 51? Also, what games in MAME does the flash start buttons when credit is present work for? Does LEDBlinky read from the default cfg or the game cfg? I know that as soon as you launch a game you haven't beforte it creates a cfg for that game, but as long as you don't actually "configure this game" within MAME, it should still read from the Default cfg correct? Last question: I don't have my hyperspin launch on computer boot. I boot to windows and then click on hyperspin. When using the pacled64 plugin, I can turn the brightness up for all leds and keep them on. They turn on and off with computer boot. As soon as I hit power button they turn on. Since I'm implementing LEDBlinky, it no longer is using the pacled64 plugin. I am setting up animations for hyperspin start, etc. But when I exit hyperspin and hyperspin is now closed. All leds are off. Is there a way to have all leds light up when I boot my computer and always stay lit OUTSIDE of hyperspin AND use LEDBlinky for when I'm using Hyperspin? I use the arcade as a jukebox (itunes) for parties and the whole cab lit up looks nice. I know it's a lot of questions in one thread. Any help would be great. Thanks!
