SkyHighGam3r Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 So I did a clean install of RetroArch 1.2.2 last night. (x64 ver, if it's relevant) and almost everything works perfectly. ...Almost. Everytime I launch the game via RocketLauncher UI, I'm presented with a full black screen and the standard windows error noise "DING". If I push enter on the keyboard, it continues to the game. No problems that I can see while playing. I booted up RetroArch, the core, and the game manually... and I am presented with a window that gives me an error that I don't understand. It's something like:EDIT: "WriteRest: op out of range (0x7ffab2f5a5da uses 0x3f492b0)"That is verbatim the error I get. I couldn't find anything about it online what-so-ever... Normally, since the game plays just fine I would just ignore something like this. However, because I have to use the KEYBOARD to push enter, it's a bigger problem, because I am trying to make it only reliant on the controller. Not to mention if I put this on someone else's PC, they won't know what is going on in the slightest lol I'm sure someone else has run into this error, and I'd appreciate any help you can give me, because I don't even remotely understand what it's telling me is wrong lol.
SkyHighGam3r Posted October 15, 2015 Author Posted October 15, 2015 I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!!It turns out this is a known issue with the PPSSPP core's current version.I downloaded the slightly older one here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ojxrc6lvmqhh3os/ppsspp_libretro.zip?dl=0(If it's not ok to post links, please feel free to delete it)Anyway, that solved my problem instantly! GO ME!
