NeoDude007 Posted November 1, 2015 Share Posted November 1, 2015 Hello good peoples! I have a question which may be quick n easy for some of you. This is my first experience with Hyperspin. I followed the short guide here on the forum: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/9226-how-to-set-up-hyperspin-on-the-nvidia-shield-beginners-guide/ I have a 500GB Shield and for right now I want to just get 'something' working. I tried to get about 35 NES games running and the wheel to show only those 35 games. Right now if I launch Hyperspin it and select the NES system, it shows over 2,000 game names. I am not sure how or why. Do I need a MAME.xml or just the NES xml? I have created Hyperspin\Settings\Nintendo Entertainment System.ini and it starts off like this: path=C:\Users\Neo\Desktop\Hyperspin\Hyperspin\Emulators\Nintendo Entertainment System\ rompath=Emulators/Nintendo Entertainment System/roms/ userompath=true exe=com.retroarch/com.retroarch.browser.retroactivity.RetroActivityFuture romextension=zip,nes parameters=cores/nestopia_libretro_android.so searchsubfolders=true pcgame=false winstate=HIDDEN hyperlaunch=true I have my NES roms in Hyperspin\Emulators\Nintendo Entertainment System\roms There are about 35 games listed in my Hyperspin\Databases\Nintendo Entertainment System\Nintendo Entertainment System.xml <?xml version="1.0"?> <!--Generated by Don's HyperSpin Tools version 4.2.6--> -<menu> -<header> <listname>Nintendo Entertainment System</listname> <lastlistupdate>10/26/2015</lastlistupdate> <listversion>1.2</listversion> <exporterversion>HyperList XML Exporter Version 1.3 Copywrite © 2009-2011 William Strong</exporterversion> </header> -<game image="" index="" name="Back to the Future (USA)"> <description>Back to the Future (USA)</description> <cloneof/> <crc>7C40D6C6</crc> <manufacturer>LJN Ltd.</manufacturer> <year>1989</year> <genre>Action</genre> <rating>Other - NR (Not Rated)</rating> <enabled>Yes</enabled> </game> -<game image="" index="" name="Battletoads (USA)"> <description>Battletoads (USA)</description> <cloneof/> <crc>BA9164E7</crc> <manufacturer>Tradewest</manufacturer> <year>1991</year> <genre>Beat-'Em-Up</genre> <rating>Other - NR (Not Rated)</rating> <enabled>Yes</enabled> </game> Thanks for any help!
