mxstar1 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Ok so I just installed Hyperspin 1.4, used rocket launcher, everything is working great. First system i choose to install is retroarch. set it up for sega genesis, audit roms, boom all my roms show up green! awesome right?! well when i go to play any rom i get this message: ScriptError - Could not find "Aerobiz (USA)" inside the archive with any defined Rom Extensions. Check if you are missing the correct Rom Extension for this rom for RetroArch's Extensions, enable Rom_Match_Extension, or correct the file name inside the archive. It could be ny title game, thats just the one i took from the error logging page. that is the only error. Easy fix??? Any ideas? Thanks
mxstar1 Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 Well Uhhh did you do what the error message says and check to see if you have the right extensions listed for RA. Thanks for the reply, Well i thought i did, so it says .zip is a supported extension of RetroArch when i chose it to be the emulator, and i even unzipped and made a .7z file because i enabled 7z as well. Neither of these work, but aparently when i unzip the rom it will open the .md file if i delete the zip. SO now my question is, how do i get retroarch to use zips? I even set up the temp folder for them. Does RA just not work with zips, or 7z's?
mxstar1 Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 You changed to 7z but did you add it as an extension Maybe im looking in the wrong spot but i thought it says that zip and 7z is supported. im looking at the global - emulators screen where all the emulators and exensions are listed, then on system specific - settings i clicked enable 7z "true"
mxstar1 Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 this is what it says under "edit retroarch emulator" Name RetroArch Path Hyperspin\Emulators\Retroarch\retroarch.exe Rom Extensions 7z|zip|sfc|gba|gb|a78|sv|gbc|rpk|gme|sc|cdt|ws|wsc|ngp|ngc|vms|ipf|n64|z64|sg|fds|caq|vb|vec|wav|cas|min|int|rom|tap|tzx|nes|col|nds|cpr|gg|pce|st2|sms|smc|lnx|md|32x|n64|a52|j64|cso|cue|iso|ccd|chd|bin Module Retroarch.ahk Do i need to tell it what program to use to unzip it?
