rastan Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I use Xpadder.... just wondering if it's possible for me to load a specific profile for individual games and emulators? For example when I launch WinUAE I would like it to use my AMIGA keymap profile... and when I launch something like Dreamcast I want it to load my keymap profile for Dreamcast. For the most part I can just use one profile for all my emulators and Taito type X games but when I launch Amiga and a few others like PC games I need them to use their own key mapping. Right now I just manually do it but if there is a way to automatically have the profiles switch and return back to a specific profile.. that would be great. Hopefully my ramblings made sense...
iNTiGOD Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Have you taken a look at the rocketlauncher wiki? Im assuming you are using rocketlauncher or even the old hyperlaunch3. This is a direct link to xpadder profile setup. There is also some good but a little old info in this thread. MAME High Score Tutorial For HyperSpin
rastan Posted November 12, 2015 Author Posted November 12, 2015 Ok, I finally figured it out. At first I was trying to do it via RL... and it worked when I tested the profiles in RL but I was never able to get the profiles to switch in Hyperspin. I just did everything in Xpadder... using the auto profile and setting the WATCH (and making sure I checked the activate box LOL) now I have about 4 profiles that load for specific emulators and PC games and everything is running smooth. I even figured out the hold zone/release zone/pause in the advance options for keymapping so I could use my START button as a EXIT (ESC) when I hold it down. Just needed to spend a little time messing with Xpadder.
