Can't seem to launch games via RocketLauncher

Hi All,

 

I've been off tinkering with different themes, bezels, etc for the last couple of weeks and haven't actually been playing many games. I went to play one this afternoon and got a RL error, which I thought was weird since I haven't really changed anything in the last 3 - 4 weeks. So I went into RLUI; everything launches fine. For some reason it seems like HS and RL have become disconnected... and I haven't changed anything recently, even longer for HS itself. Has anyone else had this happend? All systems/games in RL refuse to launch via HS. MAME, RetroArch, DEmul, and NullDC. PC launcher games (Fix it Felix, tested) work fine.

 

Here's the error message I get for MAME as well as my HS log (I don't see anything suspicious in it). Any help would be appreciated.

Also... after it returns to HS from that error, HS has lost focus. Really annoying.

Easy one - set HyperSpin as the default frontend in RLUI.

Check the announcement posts on the RL forums for more info.

It's already set... that was the first thing I verified

 

Now I'm going to go change it and move it back, let's see if that resets things.

It can't be fully set or it would be looking in your HyperSpin folder for the databases.

The latest updates to RL require you to set HyperSpin as the front end slightly differently.

Read the announcement thread at the RL forums - it tells you exactly what to do.

Awesome... just saw it. Interesting that you have to set the full path to HS now. Thanks for your help!

 

I'm barely active in the RL forums, I guess that'll have to change.
