mcbrad Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I have been running Hyperspin using the startup script for some time now with no issues. That is until I decided to add an Aimtrak gun to my system. I plugged in the gun, installed the driver software, and then calibrated the gun. It was after this that I noticed that the AimTrak gun was showing up in Xpadder as an additional Xbox 360 controller. I'm not sure if this is the root of my problem or not, but I created a new controller layout that matches the gun and saved it as a new profile with blank button assignments. When I fire up HS, the controller commands that used to work no longer do. As an example button A is used to select a system/game, now it is the start button. Nothing I do will back out of a system, used to be the B button. The joystick no longer navigates the wheel, only the D-Pad. I tried re-installing the startup script, I removed it from HyperHQ, fired up HS, closed HS, and then added the script back in - this did nothing. I finally found the log file. And it states the following "Error Initializing joysticks" This problem exists if I have the gun plugged in and unplugged. I have removed the drivers from the system and uninstalled the gun from device manager, still an issue. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas to fix this issue? I have been trying to eliminate causes for the issue. Is there a way that I can make Xpadder ignore the gun when it is plugged in? Ever since I created the layout for the gun, regardless of being plugged in, the profile is always on a tab at the top (just in red when unplugged). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

bob.records Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 You need to setup the order of them in xpaddwr to match rl i have them as p3 and p4, setup default blank profiles for the p3 and p4, and when u load the startup script load the ur normal default xpadder for p1 and p2 and then the p3 p4. Under hs startup program to run =c:\xpadderlocation\xpadder.exe "c:\profilelocation\p1.xpadderprofile" "p2" "p3" "p4" Then check all profilew in rl are set right u shud be good.
