Fizzler80 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 My first post so go easy on me. Hello everyone and thanks in advance. I recently started using hyperspin a couple weeks ago and am still learning the ropes. And damn there are a LOT of ropes. Anyway I am doing pretty well I think. My problem is this. I can open HS select Nintendo(NES), choose a game, and it opens right up and I play but if I choose Super Nintendo(SNES) and select a game it opens right up but on my 2nd monitor NOT on the one that HS is running on. It does this on N64 and Dreamcast also. I am pretty sure it is a setting issue and not anything system related. All programs I am using are the latest versions just downloaded in the last couple weeks. If more info is needed I will supply it. SNES - snes9x Sega Dreamcast - NullDC N64 - Project64 *** Not a fan of RetroArch yet*** Thanks Again.
wesfranks Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Normal procedure for any new emulator is to get it working outside of HyperSpin first. Most emulators can be opened on the monitor of choice by opening the emulator in regular mode (not full-screen). Drag it to the monitor you want, then full screen the emulator in its settings. Properly exit the emulator and it will remember what screen is preferred. Their are some stubborn programs, but most follow this rule.
Fizzler80 Posted February 27, 2016 Author Posted February 27, 2016 Wow! That worked. Thank You. So small and stupid. I have been crammimg a lot of info in my head recently through forums and you tube that I guess I just figured it had to be more difficult than that. But also to do just that never crossed my mind. Thanks again.
