TheMadHatter Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Full Screen Issue OK, so coming back to try and finish setting up settings of the SSF emulator now that i actually can play games from in in window'd mode. Im still kinda annoyed by only being able to play in windowed mode. And down the road i will want all my systems in fullscreen anyway. So every time i try it goes into the system and black screen flashes then crashes every time i set it for fullscreen. What are the appropriate settings for full screen. Here are my specs as PC resolution just in case. Version: SSF 012 beta R4 Dual Monitors SyncMaster P2270HD (Samsung) - I play at 1680 x 1050 resolution Generic Non-PnP Monitor (Sony) - I play at 1024 x 768 Ill be playing fullscreen on the SyncMaster P2270HD though and just usually have a browser opened up on the other monitor. Not sure if that helps but it doesnt hurt. Just in case i dont know about some resolution issue with SSF or something. Controller Issue: So If I try to configure a PS4 Controller in SSF the little box that comes up usually showing u to press Up and etc for binding is always blank and doesnt let you match any of the buttons. But if i plug my P880 Gamepad in it will let me map them all. And then when i plug my PS4 controller it basically is mirrored on it. Only thing is the button layouts on the controllers are way different. lol. And trying to use a P880 controller as a gateway to bind my PS4 controller is pretty tedious. Any seasoned SSF players out there with answers would be greatly appreciated. (im down to post more info if u want it. Just path me to the spot)
TheMadHatter Posted March 2, 2016 Author Posted March 2, 2016 Did you try disabling your second monitor and then attempting to run SSF fullscreen? Once I unplugged my second monitor and tried to load it up it worked fine full screen. But is there no way to get it to run outside of only having one monitor connected at full screen?
TheMadHatter Posted March 2, 2016 Author Posted March 2, 2016 I was just trying to narrow the cause of the issue, and it seems like it has something to do with the resolution of the 2nd monitor. I run 2 monitors on my pc and I don't have any problems running SSF in fullscreen but both of my monitors are set at the same resolution. Sweet ill be able to test that soon actually. Getting second monitor upgrade lol.
