hawkeyez88 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Outside of MAME, has anyone created a single wheel for all of the Golden Tee games and versions? I would love to have even a general golf wheel, not just the genre's in MAME but something specific to this great arcade standalone series of games. Thoughts?
ninja2bceen Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Yes look on the download page or ftp. If you can perfect the trackball settings, please post you mame settings. Mine sadly you barely touch it and it's full power Advance the cause to 100%. http://hyperbase.hyperspin-fe.com/ Planet Geekdom, Subscribe for Tutorials! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdcby-s2GwriaOHGmVC2vGA?sub_confirmation=1&app=desktop
hawkeyez88 Posted March 5, 2016 Author Posted March 5, 2016 Thanks for the help! I will look tonight. What trackball are you using?
hawkeyez88 Posted March 5, 2016 Author Posted March 5, 2016 I poked around and couldn't find anything other than the media packs. I guess i was envisioning something like fightcade, to where it would be a separate emulator that would only load all of the golden tee versions available, even through mame, but i guess i could get the same result by shrinking down the golf genre xml. Let me know what you want to see in the config for the trackball. I'm using an x-arcade tankstick and mine works great inside of mame currently while playing any golden tee game or other golf game for that matter.
ninja2bceen Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 3 inch standard. I don't think it's any outside settings but rather inside of mame. Driving is fine but putting is nothing like the real thing. When putting, I use three fingers and about half an inch pull back and fwd otherwise it won't go straight. What are your mame this machine settings for the trackball sensitivity etc? What other things do you use to limit sensitivity? I've tried slowing down the mouse but havnt found a sweet spot so I said screw it, just bought a golden tee 2014 Advance the cause to 100%. http://hyperbase.hyperspin-fe.com/ Planet Geekdom, Subscribe for Tutorials! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdcby-s2GwriaOHGmVC2vGA?sub_confirmation=1&app=desktop
