bluelight Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 So occasionally I am having an issue when exiting games. The game exits but instead of hyperspin being back in the foreground, it is in the background and my taskbar gets put in front of hyperspin. It is not until I task over to HS that it starts working again. I have tried selecting things in Rocketlauncher to hide task bar and those type of options but it doesnt help. Anyone else experienced this and is there a fix for it? It is going to cause issues with my mame cabinet.
bluelight Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 I am bumping this as I am still having this issue along with sometimes, the task bar comes up on top of hyperspin but hyperspin still is working during that time. So sometimes the taskbar keeps hyperspin from working until it is alt-tabbed back to the foreground, and other times it just wont go away. Alt tabbing is an issue since this is now running on a bartop cabinet. I hope someone can help.
bluelight Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 It sounds like something is stealing focus from HyperSpin. Next time it happens open Task Manager to see what is running and try shutting down any program that's not necessary. If that doesn't help there's a setting in RLUI on the Settings -> Main Settings tab called Restore Frontend on Exit. Try setting that to Restore or Restore and click to see if that solves it. Nothing else is running accept HS on my system. I have marked the option in rocketlauncher as you mentioned so maybe that will fix it. I think it will.
