ald3n3 Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 I have been searching for a while now everywhere on what is the best way to changed the Joystick on my x-arcade tankstick. All I want is a ball top joystick. Then I found this website... http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=381 This seem like an easy way to get a ball top joystick. No need to change anything else, just the shaft. Or am I not understanding something? Does it work if I do that? But I got in contact with another shop and offered me this... http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/en/58-il-eurostick-joystick He said it shouldn't be too much modding if I replace the whole Joystick with that. I would be interested also in a ball top for my xarcade. Hi! I finally received the shaft yesterday. The ball top looks awesome! and the shaft fits perfectly. Also, I ordered the SST microswitch for it. They're really soft microswitches but I can't really tell the difference when used for the joystick. But they are great switches for the buttons. It's supersoft and light, it makes the x-arcade built in cherry switch look like crap =). Here are the links, just in case you want to get them.
