wesfranks Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Probably time to get a new hard drive and spread your roms out, especially if you are getting into PS2. Until then- Is this the same drive with your operating system on it? Windows reserves a certain percentage of each installed drive, but for the OS drive, it reserves even more for page files, system restore points, stored Windows updates, etc. You could adjust these, but it might get you in trouble unless you know what you are doing and even then, mistakes happen. So be careful. Safest advice for files to delete are temp files in your user file /AppData/Local/Temp and Windows/Temp folders. Probably won't be a significant amount of space unless you have ignored it for a long time. Also, as you probably know, files in the Recycle Bin still take up disk space until you take the extra step to empty it. Speaking of Recycle Bin, if this is a terabyte drive, Windows usually reserves a massive amount of space (usually 5-10%) just in case you may need to delete that much. You can reduce this in Recycle Bin Properties in the "Custom size" section to a normal level. I especially do this for drives that I have good backups on (such as roms drives). I still leave a little headroom, but much less that the system default. More advice could be given, but we could be getting into the danger zone.
chelsel Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 The drive for hyperspin is a separate drive. I even tried moving a couple roms to a brand new external hard drive and they wouldn't extract there either. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
chelsel Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 And also if I connect my hyperspin drive to the other computer it will load the games every time it just doesn't have enough power to play em Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
wesfranks Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Try changing your 7zip temp directory to a drive that has more free space.
